Roam uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the product is used.
01Essential cookies
We use a secure, http-only session cookie to keep you logged in. The site doesn't work without it, so it can't be turned off. We also store your cookie choice itself in a small first-party cookie (“roam_consent”) so we remember it on your next visit.
02Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which features are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve Roam. In the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Albania and Kosovo, analytics cookies are set only after you accept; until then (or if you reject), Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals — such as that a page was viewed — with no cookies or identifiers stored on your device, which Google uses to estimate aggregate usage. Elsewhere analytics cookies are on by default and you can reject them. IP addresses are anonymized, and we don't sell your data or use it to track you across other sites for advertising.
03Your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Reject analytics cookies — rejecting is as easy as accepting, and we honour it. You can change your mind any time by clearing the “roam_consent” cookie (or all cookies) in your browser; the banner will then ask again. Essential cookies remain regardless, as the site can't function without them.
